Kyle had devised the perfect project for his biology class. His invention could restore cells to an earlier state; in effect, it would make them younger. He’d toiled on it for months, keeping it secret from everyone.
I don’t want to get anybody’s hopes up.
His parents were going away a week, Kyle had the house to himself.
This is the perfect opportunity to conduct field tests. If it works, I’ll get an A! Although what matters is that, I can use this as a perfect welcome home present for Mom and Dad.
